COMPLETELY CLASSIC

Posted on: November 18th, 2011 by melissa

Sometimes it’s good to get back to your roots and create a beautiful classic.

It’s not as simple as it looks though, this includes a grid, a double vase, a twist of steel grass, 2 types of Pittosporum, Chincherinchee, 20 dark red Roses and  green fingers.

A ROOM WITH A VIEW

Melissa and Tilly planted these handsome window boxes custom made by www.gardendeckor.com with Skimmia and pink and white Cyclamen, in Brondesbury Villas, on a clear November morning. We underplanted them with White Alium Nigrum, Black Parrot Tulip and Narcissi Pueblo bulbs for spring time.In May we will add Gaura Lindheimeri (whirling butterflies) and Candy Stripe Cosmos with their delicate airy flowers in keeping with the pink and white colour scheme, which will bloom until November.

Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab for UsTwo Halloween Social

For UsTwo Halloween Social we created Frankenstein’s Laboratory using Victorian flasks and bell-jars, test tubes and yards of rubber tubing to show off ghoulish flowers. Celosia suspended in a bell-jar resembles a brain in formaldehyde. Pickle jars full of eyeballs sprouting flowers like strange unearthly body parts or stem cell experiments, what a whacky job! We loved it.
